For Subcontractors

Know who got appointed, before the tier-1 calls you.

Every AU/NZ commercial project where a head contractor lands — pushed into your HubSpot, with the builder, the PM, and the estimator already linked. Stop waiting for the call. Start the call.

Construction project intelligence inside HubSpot

Most subbies hear about a job from the head contractor. The good ones already knew.

Tier-1 and tier-2 builders pick subcontractors fast — usually from a shortlist of names already in mind. GrowthNGen surfaces the moment a head contractor wins a project, so your team can be the one ringing the PM, not the one waiting for an EOI.

Builders, the moment they win

Contract Let triggers a HubSpot record with the builder, the PM and the estimator linked. Your reps know who to ring while the trade packages are still being written.

hub

PM and estimator already attached

No more hunting on LinkedIn for who manages procurement. The right contact at the head contractor is on the deal record.

public

One pipeline, every region you cover

NSW, VIC, QLD, WA, NZ — your reps see the appointments in their patch. National managers see everything. The chaos of regional check-ins goes away.

Built for how subcontractors actually win work

Your estimators know how to price. They shouldn't be the ones tracking which builder just won what.

radar

Contract Let visibility

Know which builder just got appointed to which project. The window where trade packages get awarded is short — be in it.

groups

PM and estimator contacts

Every head contractor on a relevant project comes with the people who actually award trade work. Linked, current, ready to call.

Filter by your trade and patch

Commercial fitout in Sydney over $3M. Civil in Auckland. Electrical statewide. Set once, only the work you'd actually pursue flows through.

notifications_active

Alerts when projects move

Contract Let, builder changed, project paused — your reps get notified when something material happens. No daily check-ins.

How it works

Three steps. Live in under two weeks. No multi-week scoping or bespoke discovery.

01

We map your HubSpot

Pipeline stages, deal properties, contact records — we use what you already have. No rebuild required.

02

We tune the search to your trade and patch

Project type, region, value, trade discipline, appointed builder — set to surface projects at Contract Let stage with the head contractor and PM attached.

03

Appointments start landing

Matching projects show up in HubSpot the moment a builder is appointed. Your reps are calling the PM while the trade packages are still being scoped. No more waiting for the EOI.

Common Questions

What we get asked across every customer type — suppliers, builders, consultancies. ICP-specific questions are below.

How is this different from using Cordell Connect on its own?

Cordell Connect is the database. GrowthNGen is the pipeline. Today your team logs in, searches, exports to CSV, then copy-pastes into HubSpot — every day, hours a week. GrowthNGen sits between Cordell and your CRM. New projects matching your search profile land in HubSpot automatically with architects, builders and developers already linked. Your reps open HubSpot and the pipeline is current.

Can we filter by what we actually pursue?

Yes. Search profiles filter by region, project value, stage, type, stakeholder role, and discipline. As narrow or broad as your team needs. Set the profile once and only matching projects flow through — everything else stays out of the way.

Will it mess with our existing HubSpot setup?

No. We map into your existing pipeline, deal stages and contact properties. If something needs a tweak — a custom property, a new stage — we handle it during onboarding. Most teams go live without changing their HubSpot at all.

How long does it take to go live?

Under two weeks for most teams. We handle the HubSpot mapping, the search-profile setup and the first projects flowing through. You don't need a developer.

What happens when a project changes stage?

The HubSpot record updates automatically. Contract Let, DA approved, builder changed, design phase — it flows through. Your rep can get a notification when something material happens. No stale records, no manual check-ins.

Questions from subcontracting teams

The things BD and commercial leaders ask before getting started.

Can we filter to only show projects from builders we have relationships with?

Yes. Search profiles can filter by appointed head contractor — if you only want to see projects landing with Multiplex, Built, Hutchinson or your specific target list, that's what flows through. You can also flag projects from unfamiliar builders separately as warm-up opportunities.

What about projects where the head contractor isn't appointed yet?

Different play. You can include earlier-stage projects (DA, design development) on the same feed, separately tagged. The subbies that win the earliest opportunities are usually the ones who've already built a relationship with the eventual head contractor through prior projects.

How is this different from sub-contracting on a tier-1's vendor list?

Vendor lists tell you a builder is willing to consider you. They don't tell you which projects that builder just won. GrowthNGen surfaces the live appointments — the moment when trade packages are being written. Vendor list status helps; project visibility helps more.

Will this conflict with our existing HubSpot setup?

No. We map into your existing pipeline, deal stages and contact properties. Most teams go live without changing their HubSpot at all.

How quickly can we be live?

Under two weeks for most teams. We handle the HubSpot mapping, the search-profile setup, and the first projects flowing through. You don't need a developer.
